Notes:

XYL Pam NØICF, son Grant K1KD, daughter Kara NØVTE. My father KØJGI (SK) and I got interested in radio in 1960 & began studying together. We were both licensed as novices in 1961. This was a father/son thing and my son and I have had some of those same "common-bond" experiences since he was licensed at age 10. He made honor roll at age 27 and is an active contester in the state of Vermont.

Radio club activity includes: Eastern Iowa DX Assoc and the Ottumwa Amateur Radio Club serving as past president of both.

The biggest pileups I ever heard or busted was 3YØPI and XZØA on 160m from Iowa, S21NQ for last country needed for Top of Honor Roll in 1991 and the most recent BS7H for the last one mixed.

I use DX4Win, MixW and other ham radio software.

Goals in the future: New beam and MORE DXPEDITIONS.
